Mom wanted to know why Connecting Threads fabric is extra soft, so I wrote an email and asked them. Kara, a nice customer service person, answered me right away.Kara said, "Our fabric is very soft and it is manufactured from super combed cotton that is grown in the USA. That kind of cotton is extra-soft. See, when cotton or another fabric is combed, the shortest, additional fibers of a batch are removed. The result produces high-quality fibers or thread with excellent strength and softness."
